
BIOGRAPHY
Swiss-Romanian soprano, Sophie Negoïta, obtained her Master’s Degree at The University Mozarteum Salzburg in the class of Barbara Bonney. Recently, she made her debut at the Salzburger Festspiele holding the main role of the Opera Ping Pong composed for the festival by Mischa Tangian. She was also "Rosa" in the creation Rosa & Bianca at Grand-Théâtre de Genève, Barbarina in "Le Nozze di Figaro" and Clara in "L’Auberge du Cheval Blanc" (Benatzky) at Opéra de Lausanne. Her long-standing collaboration with pianist Jansen Ryser and her love for chamber music has lead them to pursue a postgraduate
Lied Collaboration degree.

DUO
The Negoïta–Ryser Duo, formed by Swiss-Romanian soprano Sophie Negoïta and pianist Jansen Ryser, finely explores the dialogue between poetry and music. Their repertoire ranges from Mozart to Saariaho, with interpretations marked by sensitivity and personality. Invited to perform in Switzerland, Austria, Romania and Spain, they stand out for their ability to create a vivid connection with the audience. Their approach combines the Lied tradition with an openness to new artistic forms.
